A recent study from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center found that people who upped their fiber intake by 10 grams a day (the amount in a big bowl of oatmeal with two tablespoons of ground FLAXSEED and a cup of BERRIES) didn't add as much deep, visceral fat to their middles over five years as those who didn't step up the fiber.
